So yes, I kind of went a bit crazy with this sale but I am very excited that I got some new, shiny stuff to try out this coming fall and I would love to share my thoughts with you. Thank you for reading!

I decided to purchase this after watching Kathleen Light’s video and I am so glad that I did. I packed this eyeshadow palette and two other TF eyeshadow quad palettes for my Vegas trip during LDW and I ended up only using this palette!
You get 21 colors – beautiful color range with both matte and shimmer. You could build so many different looks using this palette: from daily natural makeup, to bright coral or pink, to bronzed smoky eye, and some more.

Another thing about this palette is that it probably has one of the best packagings I have ever experienced. First of all, it comes with this huuuuuuuuge mirror! Then its magnetic closure which made the palette felt super secure (especially when you are traveling).
In my opinion, it is one of the best eyeshadow palette I have ever used with all the essential eyeshadow colors for me with some fun exciting colors (like teal, green, bright coral or pink) in the mix and I will definitely be bringing it with me next time I travel ❤

Yes, this Ambient Lighting palette has been out and been praised by all makeup gurus for years – I never quite understand the hype until one day this summer I booked a Sephora makeover appointment, and I tried it for the first time. Oh. My. God. The hype is real.

Since I got this lighting palette, I have been using it as a dusting-all-over powder rather than just highlight. If I am going out and I wanted a glowing, but not glittery look, I would mix the two highlight shades and use it as a setting powder for my under eye area, then use the remaining powder left on the brush to focus on my cheekbone, nose bridge, etc.
This ambient lighting powder gives you glowing from within kind of look without being too over the top. And the bronzing shade I have been using it either mix it with other highlighter, or as a bronze topper (would apply some after my normal bronzing/contouring step) or just use it as its own. I have been using it everyday since I got it. Love love love! ❤ ❤ ❤

ABH Lip Gloss ‘Venus’ – Pat McGrath Lip Liner ‘Done Undone’ – Pat McGrath Lipstick ‘Attitude’
This is probably one of my favorite special occasion (not really a lip gloss wearer to begin with) lip gloss! It is very shiny but not tacky or sticky at all. Think Victoria Secret model or bridal color – this lip gloss make your lips look super juicy and wet 😛

I have always wanted to try Pat McGrath’s products and this time I picked up one lip liner (color ‘Done Undone’) which is a light pinky nude and is perfect for my skin tone. I am very pleasantly surprised by the quality of this lip liner – it is super creamy, glides on easily, and has amazing staying power. My holy grail lip liner has always been Charlotte Tilbury lip liner in the color Pillow Talk (now available at Sephora!) But I must admit, this Pat McGrath lip liner is just as good as CT, if not better! Definitely recommend.
Oh. My. I thought I have used many, many lipsticks but I must admit Pat McGrath might have the best lipstick formula in the market right now. This lipstick is extremely creamy, not drying, and the fades beautifully.

ABH Lip Gloss ‘Venus’ – Pat McGrath Lip Liner ‘Done Undone’ – Pat McGrath Lipstick ‘Attitude’
I bought the color Attitude which is a perfect brown rosy nude (hence not look too grey with my skintone). I would say this is almost like a combination of Charlotte Tilbury’s Walk of Shame and Bobbi Brown’s lipstick in the color Brown. I am so glad I bought it and I can’t wait to wear this color this fall ❤

Since I have not had my eyelash extensions in a while, I have been looking for a mascara that will elongating my lashes but separating them at the same time, but most importantly, it needs to have great staying power. I have been using Too cool for school’s mascara and I loved that one a lot but I just wanted to try something different this time and I am so glad that I did. This mascara from GA checks all of the boxes: beautiful packaging, make my lashes super long but at the same time won’t make my lashes look chunky, and stays on for hours and hours even in Vegas heat (95 degree weather!). Definitely will repurchase next time!

This is recommended by my best friend Veronica – she loves using this stick foundation in the winter because it is not drying, covers everything and lasts forever. I only used this foundation a couple of times so far (I have way too many foundations!) but I have been loving it so far – it is not heavy but has pretty great coverage, it is easy to build up (if you would need more coverage) and has a great color selection for people in light to medium skintone. Sometimes I find it is hard for me to find good foundation color match with certain brands because it is either too yellow or too pink on me SMH. However, with the price tag of $87, it is definitely one of those investment makeup products.

HOLY. GRAIL. I am using all caps because I truly felt a difference since I started using it – I brought this with me when I went to Vegas and my lips did not feel dry at all! I have been using it (almost) every night since I got it and my lips become so soft and plumped. Sometimes when I get ready, if I know I would be using a liquid lipstick or a more drying lipstick, I would put quite a generous layer of this mask on as I get ready then wipe it off right before applying liquid lipstick. I have been recommending this products to all of my friends since I started using it. It is $20 for this pod but I imagine this pod will last you for a very very long time. Definitely worth trying out if you have dry lips! 😀
I am obsessed with different kind of masks – sheet masks from Japan or Korean, firming masks, clay masks for deep clean, brightening masks etc. This clay mask is a more gentle deep clean masks but I do like it a lot. It would take about 30 minutes (depends on how much you put on your face) to dry up completely, then you wash your face to rinse it off with warm water. After using it I did notice that my skin became clearer, brighter and tighter but again, this is definitely one of those more gentle cleansing mask, so if you are looking for a “strip my face clean and I don’t care if there is a bit of pain” kind of mask, this is probably not for you. But if you are looking for a reasonably priced, gentle cleansing mask, you would probably like this one as much as I do!
So that is it – everything I bought at the Sephora VIB sale this year.
What new beauty products did you try out recently? Have you used these products before? Leave me a comment and subscribe I would love to have you back ❤ Hope you are having a great weekend so far!
