First Impression – Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk

Charlotte Tilbury has always been one of my favorite makeup brands. Charlotte Tilbury is a British makeup artist and she is always pushing for natural, glowing, healthy makeup looks and that is what I love about her.

Charlotte Tilbury’s lipliner ‘Pillow Talk’ was the first product I purchased from the brand and it is probably the perfect pinky nude lip liner I have ever used – for some reason, it looks amazing on EVERY skin tone! I have not heard anyone who used this lip liner and did not like it. So last year, when Charlotte introduced the lipstick of Pillow Talk, I knew I had to have it. I ordered online when it first became available and this lipstick has probably been one of my all time favorite lipsticks, and the one I have always keep in my office makeup bag since then.

And then she did it again. A couple of weeks ago she introduced the eyeshadow quad and blush into the ‘Pillow Talk’ family and I ordered on the first day, again.

When I opened the package, I knew I would absolutely love it.

This is the first time I actually purchased the eyeshadow quad and blush from Charlotte Tilbury despite I have always wanted to try it but never could decide which palette or blush to pick from.

I would say the packaging for the eyeshadow quad was slightly disappointing for me mostly because it is plastic and for some reason it felt very light – which could be a good thing if you are traveling or want to keep it in your purse.

But, when I opened it and swatched the color – I knew I would be keeping this one. It is the most gorgeous pinky nude tone eyeshadow I have ever tried. When I first bought it online I had doubts about the color combination and feared that I might already have something very similar to this color theme since I have ABH Renaissance and Soft Glam and some other pinky eyeshadows here and there. However, this palette is so simple, yet so easy to use. You can use it to create the softest rosy makeup look – think bridal – from just everyday look to something a bit more glam.

I watched Charlotte’s makeup tutorial on youtube for this pillow talk look and I think I now have a new makeup routine! ❤

For the blush, I am very impressed with the quality and I especially love the design on having the lighter highlight blush shade in the middle. Because of this design, you can swirl around the blush first, apply on your cheeks, and tap the highlight blush shade and pop it on the apple of your cheeks. Absolutely love this blush!

I am happy to say that this is a quite successful order and I would definitely be trying more of Charlotte Tilbury’s products again in the future. BTW they are officially on Sephora! ❤
